Directions

Entering the Fermilab Site

Because of the present national security status, all visitors to Fermilab, including Neutron Therapy patients, must obtain a pass. These are available only at the west entrance (Kirk Road to Pine Street.) The guard will direct you to the Lederman Science Center where they will ask you to show identification (usually a driver's license.) If you have an appointment at Neutron Therapy, the guard will have your name on an approved list, so he/she can issue you a pass. If you experience difficulty ask the guard to call extension 3865 for approval.

Once you have a valid pass, you may enter the Fermilab site from either the east or west gate.
